Sobre a sintaxe da interpretação temporal dos infinitivos em português

Resumo

Este artigo discute a sintaxe dos infinitivos verbais do português brasileiro, detendo-se mais especificamente no tipo de interpretação temporal que é veiculada a depender da configuração sintática em que a oração encaixada, nucleada por um infinitivo, aparece. Seguindo Chomsky (1995, 2000, 2001) e na esteira da proposta de Landau (2004), este trabalho propõe uma relação entre as projeções funcionais (com seus diferentes traços) que introduzem as orações infinitivas e o tipo de leitura – irrealis, anafórica ou genérica – que elas podem veicular.
