Abstract

This article is part of the study area on Portuguese for Speakers of Other Languages, specifically for indigenous people. The aim is to analyze the difficulties in the acquisition of verbal inflection of Portuguese by timbira speakers, Jê family, Macro-Jê stock. It was possible to verify the interference of L1 in L2 acquisition as well as the interaction between morphology and syntax in the corpus, by reading and analyzing texts produced by timbira students.
