Abstract

This paper presents a new account for frequency and degree adverbs by using Karitiana data as support. Frequency adverbs are understood as quantifiers that operate over verbal domain, rather than having an inherent iterative component. Besides doing iterative quantification, degree adverbs have a special component to specify a degree.
