Abstract

Our doctoral research sought, through discourse analysis, to apprehend the theoretical and practical conception of the teacher about his or her classes through the analysis of lesson plans available online, in which one can find the planning of the classes, the teacher’s interpretation of legal documents, and his or her persuasive action over the students. We understand that, in this way, it would be possible to learn about the transmission and construction of knowledge in Brazilian classrooms at the beginning of the 21st century, our broader objective. The analyses were done using discourse semiotic theory (FIORIN, 2002; BARROS, 2001) and tensive theory (ZILBERBERG, 2011). This paper presents the results of the analyses of the discursive strategies of person, space and time, and what effects of meaning resulted from these choices and the constituted enunciator – enunciate relationship.
