Abstract

This article aims to present and discuss the issue of text genres as an instrument for students and teachers development. In order to do this, we present our experience in a university extension course on the creation of didactic sequences based on text genres. The theoretical and methodological framework for this research are Ergonomy of Activity and Activity-Clinic, which develop researches about work situations and sociodiscursive interactionism. The theories propose a model that accounts for textual genres. As a result of this research, we show some
didactic sequences elaborated by students of a university extension course.
