Abstract

In this paper we analyze some strips in which the character Ozzy (of the cartoonist
Angeli) is the protagonist. We propose a discussion on the role of stereotypes, based on the French Discourse Analysis, in the humorous discourse and, especially, in the way they are presented in humorous texts which have children are protagonists. We intend to discuss the possible existence of a Discursive Formation that would determine the way children’s characters are presented in humorous discourse. In order to conduct the discussion, we observe some specific examples from the texts.
