Abstract

We investigate the concept(s) of textual cohesion in the texts of undergraduate Language students from the public and private brazilian universities. It is texts produced to answer the discursive question of Linguistics and Portuguese test from the National Examination of Courses in 2001, which had assumed the knowledge of textual cohesion. This work is based on the concept of dialogic interactionism and the concept of enunciative heterogeneity (s). In the research, treat only the cases of unmarked heterogeneity. As a result of this work, references to textual cohesion are made through the employment of cohesive features in retextualizations produced by these undergraduate students, result that shows us that we must rethink the way we evaluate the written productions of our students.
