Textual production of learners in multiliteracies practices: the case of Club-Penguin

Abstract

This article intends to discuss literacy practices that subjects in the acquisition/development of writing do in different contexts and media, watching the (multi) literacies practiced by them and see if there are linkages with school literacies. Therefore, was analyzed a play produced by children online surfers to a digital environment called Club- Penguin, who are also students of the same school of elementary school, in São Paulo. This production process revealed interesting questions about multiliteracies and multimodality.
