Abstract

Based on the proposes of Maingueneau (2009), presented in his book Discurso Literário, the present text aims at analyzing the construction of the legend surrounding the writer J. K. Rowling, author of seven volumes of the Harry Potter best seller, as the construction of scenographies that present paratopic character. The corpus of analysis is basically constituted of the documentary J.K Rowling – A Year in the Life, fi lmed by fi lmmaker James Runcie.
