The constitution of the bank advertisement in the 1970s: the discourse of the Banco do Brasil

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the publicity text of the Banco do Brasil, published in the Exame magazine, in the year of 1976. The theoretical background is the Discourse Analysis from French perspective and the significant materiality to be analyzed belongs to the thesis project in development in the Program of Postgraduation in Language Studies, at the University State of Londrina, Paraná. We analyze in specific, the process of constitution, formulation and circulation of the advertisement, by placing emphasis on the conditions of production of the text. The effects are analyzed based on the perspective proposed by Eni Orlandi, which presents a reflection on the relation between text and discourse.
