Abstract

We present a research with 23 individuals who attended a pos-graduation course
at university in São Paulo. The aim was to investigate how they appreciate their first students experiences related to their teachers. We assume a conception centered in an intrinsic relation between cognition and affectivity in human psychological functioning, considering language as a constitutive factor in relations from individual to the world. In order to reach our aim we formulated a question for these individuals: Did you like your teacher when you were child? Why? We analyzed the answers in Bardin conception. We verified that child perception gave a meaning to these experiences (perezhivanie) which were evident in the word “attention”, supporting a Vygotsky meaning and sense. Those individuals with negative experiences justified their answers using the word “fear”.
